12/28/16 update: Preg checked in foal to Charlie Chime

2/20/16 update: Preg checked in foal for spring/summer 2016. Our plans are to put Monique back into training post foaling and have her ready for sale in the winter of 2016/spring 2017.  She is priced at the above price with RETURN OF FOAL.

1/3/14 update: Hacking out nicely this winter. Quiet with the hounds, dogs underfoot and traffic. She is such a gentle mare, I used her this fall as the nanny to teach our 10 imported CSHA/Hanoverianx weanlings how to eat grain and drink from the automatic waterers. She was kind and never threatened the babies once. She is listed for sale, however if not sold by March, she will be bred to our young Reg CSHA 7/8 Hanoverian stallion prospect, Goliath. A foal by Goliath will be 15/16's Warmblood and elgible for inspection with the AWR, AWS and likely some other WB registries. Monique is a perfect match to her 1/2 brother, Giaco's Magic and together they would make an elegant and stunning pair.

Here is a video of Magic and Monique hacking out in winter coats:

12/31/13 update: Monique has been getting a ride or two every week or two due to weather conditions and she rides the same each time, no longing required. Cant wait for spring to get a decent picture of her.

9/29/13 update: Again, pulled her from pasture and she rode the same as a month and a half ago.

8/8/13 update: Pulled this young mare from pasture after not being ridden for months. She was fabulous in the arena and hacking out! What a gem!! We have several half siblings to Monique available for sale as well, Giaco's Magic, Giaco's Rosco, Giaco's Loco.

1/15/3 update: This mare is just lovely to be around. When you are out in the pasture, you may feel her breath on your shoulder. She walks up quietly and follows you around. A real sweetheart.

12/18/12 update: This filly is lovely in every way. Quiet and sensible, low key no drama...she has a lot of class. She is beautiful and moves nicely and of course incredibly well bred.  She returned from the trainers and has been ridden so far by two different riders here who both loved her. She is in our daily riding rotation and will continue to progress nicely. Although she is registered CSHA, she can also be inspected and registered American Warmblood and she would inspect very well.

These are just pics of her schooling the day that she returned...we will replace them with better photos later..

11/20/12 update: Now going w,t,c under saddle and hacking out alone and in company. Can not wait to get this beauty home!!

10/20/12 update: Monique is solid black and currently standing 16H. She string tests to 16.3H. She has been imported from NW Canada and was dropped at our trainer's for 30 days training under saddle. She is due to return to Virginia the first week of December.
