2006 Virginia Equine Extravaganza

For the third year in a row, VSH was asked to provide the horses for the Equine Extravaganza's Trainer's Challenge. The first Challenge was held in North Carolina. The Second in Richmond Virginia.

The North Carolina Equine Extravanza was a huge success! VSH would like to thank everyone who participated, with a special thanks to the three trainers who worked with out horses during the Trainer's Challenge.

Brock Griffith, Gilbert Gonzales, Phil Rogers did an amazing job of starting the three young horses that participated in the North Challenge (VSH Ring of Fire, VSH Patchwork Masterpiece and Maxwell). We'd especially like to congratulate Brock on his Trainer's Challenge win. He'll be participating in the Challenge finals in Richmond, October 31-November 2.

Finally, we'd like to say a special thank you and congratulations to VSH's own young rider, Leah. Leah rode Seamus throughout the weekend long NC Extravaganza, and won a SECOND PLACE in the America's Ultimate Horse Idol competition!
