JUNIOR HUNT - December 26th
This hunt is designed to introduce foxhunting to the junior rider. Adults are welcome, too. Come join in the fun!!!
Ingleside Plantation, Oak Grove, Virginia
10 a.m.
There are three fields to accommodate all riding levels:
First Flight
Second Flight
Third Flight
, or the mounted hilltoppers, is a walk/trot only field is a walk/trot/canter field with no jumps
Capping fee is $10 for juniors, $50 for adults
Safety helmets and boots are required. Hunt attire is not required. Dress warmly.
A negative Coggins within 12 months is required
All riders are required to sign the liability waiver or they will not be permitted to hunt;
riders under age of 18 will need parent’s or legal guardian’s signature.
No one else may sign the waiver for a Jr.
Waiver is available at
follows the hounds and huntsman at paces ranging from a walk to a gallop. Jumps up to 2 ½ feet high (optional)

Rte. 3 East toward King George
·
Cross Route 301 and continue until the first traffic light (10 miles)
·
Turn right on Leedstown Road
·
Ingleside Plantation will be on your left. Turn at the very first driveway after the entrance to the winery.

From Richmond, VA
·
Rte. 301 north (note: if taking I-95 N, take Carmel Church Exit (Rte. 207) toward Bowling Green. Route 207 will merge with Route 301.

Turn right on Rt. 3 and continue until the first traffic light (10 miles)
·
Turn right on Leedstown Road
·
Ingleside Plantation will be on your left. Turn at the very first driveway after the entrance to the winery. |
From Southern Maryland
·
Rte. 301 south over Potomac River bridge
·
Turn left on Rte. 3 to Oak Grove and continue until the first traffic light (10 miles)
·
Turn right on Leedstown Road
·
Ingleside Plantation will be on your left. Turn at the very first driveway after the entrance to the winery. |
