Regal Demeanor
Regal Demeanor is an elegant 15.2HH+ warmblood with a stellar temperament, movement and jumping form! Regal moves beautifully and would make a great show hunter, fox hunter, pony club mount or eventer. Sweet and precocious gelding with a lot of personality and talent. Solidly built, sturdy, brave powerhouse of a gelding.

2/3/12 update: Just returned from a few weeks of training, now doing courses.

9/1/11 update: Regal was started under saddle and accepted saddle and rider, went w,t,c in the round pen all in the first ride. We are doing his training here on the farm as he is a smaller horse than our others and so we do not wish to drive his price up. It does still cost us to have horses started on the farm as no one rides for free neither do hay farmers or feed stores give away their goods. His price will rise as he is able to be ridden by amateurs and go to sales appts. We will also update his pictures and measurement as he looks COMPLETELY different. At his current level of pricing, we would like to sell him over the internet.
11/24/10 update: Regal is SUCH A SWEET GELDING. People pay a lot of money for 15.2H Warmblood, this gelding is going to be every bit the same horse as a small American-bred Hanoverian or Oldenberg with a temperament, jumping ability, soundness, hybrid vigor and movement to die for. A SUPER friendly colt, Sired by our own Indy and out of our treasured mare, Cricket..anyone can come and meet his parents here on the farm and see for themselves what this young gelding will be.
8/6/10 update: Regal is a very refined gelding with an awesome mind, great floaty movement and super jumping ability. He is not going to be tall...likely 15.2H tops... Great horse for someone who wants a small warmblood with a great mind.
1/10/10 update: This gelding to grow and develop into a handsome, well made gelding of exceptional temperament and trainability. We anxiously await the spring, when these youngsters shed out and we can transport them back to Virginia for maintenance, photo and video shoots at which time their prices are adjusted... Great time to buy a youngster like this...
4/10/09 update: This is a very friendly, elegant gelding who will be very refined. He ties, leads, loads, bathes and picks up his feet. A people pleasing gelding that is easy going and easy to work with. Nice movement. This colt, holds and carries himself with a ton of presence...has since birth..hence the name Regal Demeanor.. He really has Regal "Bearing", but it does not come off as well as a name.. He belongs in a show ring. With his great - deep and sloping shoulder, he will make a great fox hunter, jumper, eventer or trail horse, but what a waste...he moves with a flat enough knee to do the hunters, yet he just floats and has the mind for dressage. Great all purpose horse... Want to see what he will look (a lot) like....look at his uncle, Tannin. We are working on uploading a video shot on 4/14/09...remind us if you want to see it and its not up yet..
Regal Demeanor is a big warmbloody colt by VSH Indy Prince and out of Cricket, one of the most pleasant horses (geldings included) we have ever owned and one heck of a natural jumper. This colt already seems to have his dam's cheerful and agreeable personality and if he has the trainability, movement and jumping ability of his bloodline he is going to make one heck of an eventer, or hunt horse.
Already he is displaying a big scopey movement. He seems to prefer a slow, quiet canter to the walk or trot. He carries himself with a lot of prescence and has a quiet grace even at this young age. He will be one to stand out in the crowd. He has great conformation, nice straight legs and is very proportionate at 3 days with a perfectly balanced length and placement of neck.
This colt is the first one of our "signature crosses" to be bred and foaled on Virginia soil and we are well pleased.
Pictured below are his dam Cricket - 15.3H Signature Cross and his Sire, VSH Indy Prince 16.3H Reg. Premium (Indy Prince Cody Bred) Spotted Draft as well as his uncle Tannin 17H Signature cross and uncle Brogan 17H Signature Cross. Also here is a link to our page of customer comments JUST about our Clyde Crosses with links to pics and MORE customer comments from owners of our Signature crosses...these horses speak for themselves...you can MAKE this stuff up...
