Buster
Born 5/20/10 on a Clydesdale breeding farm from registered show stock Buster is not registered, however we would be happy to provide the info so that the purchaser could do so themselves. Although many are unaware of this...not all well bred Clydesdales are born with perfect blazes and 4 high stockings. Like many of the draft breeds, the Clydesdale is descended from the Great War Horse of Europe which had Black...not white Stockings. Buster has some silver feathering on his right front stocking. If you are a Clydesdale Breeder who stands a stallion for outside breeding...its embarrassing to have a colt or filly on the farm who is not perfectly marked.
Buster is one of these colts. He is out of a 17HH mare, pictured with her 09 colt, and an 18HH stallion pictured as a 3yr old. Buster should finish 17.2H. We are raising and selling him here as a favor to the breeder. He has a lovely temperament, is big beautiful and for our purposes perfect. He would make a great family horse, trail horse, driving horse or hilltopper hunt horse.
5/2/12 update: Big gentle giant that anyone can ride. Good looking fella.
4/4/12 update: Coming along nicely...he is an easygoing guy, still not a lot of training but riding quietly for anyone..great husband horse material.
3/7/12 update: Buster was started under saddle today and was just great, riding quietly on the first seesion. He is going to be a nice quiet family trail horse in a few months.
11/10/11 update: What a GIANT BABY....you can see from the pics that he still looks like a BABY...but he is HUGE!!!. The gentleman in the picture is 6' tall!!!
here is a reference picture of Buster taken as a weanling so that you can see markings etc.
