Donau Drache
This is Donau, one of the lovely warmblood show mares that we have aquired as breeding stock. Donau had an impressive show career in Show Jumping and Showed Dressage to Prix St. Georges. She is currently sharing a pasture with our 17H AWB/ASHA Stallion, Charlie Chimes in the hopes that she will produce a foal for us next August. Even for a mare of her age, her movement is breathtaking and her gaze is both regal and mesmerizing. Donau has a very impressive pedigree which documents a lineage of ancestors graded by the top European Registries, including Oldenburg, KWPN (Dutch Warmblood), Westphalian and Holsteiner. She is registered with both the Canadian Warmblood and American Warmblood Society. Her sire is Reg Oldenburg and her Dam is Dutch Warmblood. She carries appr. 1/4 TB blood and is a Secretariat granddaughter. She goes back on her dam's side to legendary sire's of dressage and jumpers Ramiro Z and Amor.
