January 2010 Update:
Isabella has been in training in Montana with trainer Jessie Clise for the last 6 months. Isabella is absolutely bombproof and child safe. In addition, she has been doing local hunter jumper shows and is now 3 yrs old and so has been started over cross rails. Isabella embodies all of the positive aspects of the Connemara pony and would make a wonderfuly agreeable, safe, trainable and athletic mount for a child.
July 2009 Update:
Isabella was started under saddle today by trainer Jessie Clise. This is a breathtakingly gorgeous, substantial and eyecatching filly of good quality. She is a rich buckskin color and she will be tall enough for a junior or adult rider. She will make a great hunter, event or even womens dressage and foxhunting mount. We have been so pleased with the offspring of Isabella's sire, Tullymor's Ned Devine that we have decided not to renew his lease and he will soon return to Virginia where he will stand to our signature cross mares, hopefully producing a line of largely Buckskin American Warmbloods. Isabella, Alexandra, Finnegan, and Bantry Bay are the last of Ned's "pony line". Finnegan is a full brother (2008) to Isabella and is also for sale.
May 2008 Update
This is VSH Devine Isabella. This gorgeous dun filly is very leggy, strong, healthy, frisky, loveable and intelligent. Isabella is registered as half Connemara with the American Connemara Association.
Isabella is a full sibling to last years "pick of the crop", Tanis.
Isabella is imprinted and comes when you call her name. She already picks up all four feet, wears a halter and leads. She absolutely loves attention and is learning her manners. This filly could not have straighter more correct legs.
Isabella made it back to the main farm today as we used her as a Judas goat to get another weanling on to the trailer. She is just the cutest little pony, really seems like she is my daughter..like she is a little girl rather than a pony. She stood tied patiently for a good while, allowed me to pull her mane, pick up all 4 feet and wash the mud off her legs. She is standing 13.1 1/4H on 5/22/08. If she wasn't only 16 months old, I would have saddled her for the fun of it. I'd lay a wager that I could tack her and she would just walk off.
Isabella is the daughter of a wonderful registered foundation bred POA mare, Heaven, and grand daughter of celebrated Connemara mare, Bar Bar A's Rebel Doll, and by our registered Connemara stallion, Tullymor's Ned Devine.
