VSH Devine Alexandra is a 2007 Connemara/Welsh Cross pony. Foaled on May 5, 2007, this filly is the epitome of elegance.
Alexandra was born soft grey (almost purple), with darker points. Perfectly proportioned and already agile! She has matured to a beautiful soft "flannel" grey.
Alexandra is half Connemara, out of Tullymor's Ned Devine. She's registered with the American Connemara Association as half Connemara.
This filly is a heartbreaker. You really can't imagine her and the pictures do not begin to capture her. She is really a thing of beauty. She is very self assured, intelligent, bold and friendly. She and Fiona are the two mares on the farm who are fully aware of their "Royal" status. Alex's dam is our best pony broodmare Missy, who gives us a great foal every year. Alex's sibs on her dams side are Neptune, Louisa. Her sire is Tullymor's Ned Devine (ACPS Reg Connemara) and so she is 1/2 sister to Lotsofdots, VSH Devine Joy, VSH Devine Isabella. Prior to moving to VSH, Missy produced several very nice foals which went on to become show ponies under harness. Missy's offspring have sold for more than $14,000 as 3 yr olds just started in harness. Missy has an extremely KIND, DOCILE nature and she passes this on to her offspring. They are lambs really and well suited to the role of children's pony. Alex has just started training and she is proving hersself at every turn.
