Stunning, tall, solid black gelding with a star. Born May 8, 2012, this fellow is 100% professionally raised and trained. Excellent conformation, super mind and stately presence. Sport Horse Luxe. AWS Eligible and suitable in type and quality to go into the hunter or dressage ring be a 3 day or a Masters horse. He is microchipped for identification purposes.
We have raised, trained and sold appr 10-15 sibs to this horse. They are staff horses in NY, first field hunters in Va, second field hunters at Radnor hunt in Pa, 3 are first field and staff prospects with Grand Canyon Hunt in Arizona, and one is a dressage horse in Maine. All have great minds are sturdy and athletic. The best horse on the market for todays serious foxhunter IMHO... For what it is worth, this cross is no longer being bred by any established breeder so Dancer and his sibs are the last remaining horses of his type. These days you can find many draft crosses for sale on facebook pages, in this horse's price range, but I can tell you that they are NOT all sound, they do NOT all have this type of mind (temperament from 1-3) and they are NOT all professionally raised and brought along carefully and according to a program that has stood the test of time. Lastly, they don't have our inventory of similar horses standing behind them to ensure that the horse purchased is the proper fit for the rider.
Imported, Canadian-Bred Sport Horse.
2/25/2017 update: In daily training with a top event trainer. Lovely trot and perfect 3 beat canter. Super fun ride. Plans are to show dressage in the next few weeks and compete in the Deep Run Hunter Trails in April.
2/22/16 update: very althletic and independant gelding. EXCELLENT WHIP OR STAFF PROSPECT. Doesnt give a rip about where other horses are, going away, coming back leading following etc,
7/21/15 update: Settling into his groove. Hacks out nicely alone or in company, schooling this week in the arena. Stands quietly for mounting, stands quietly when asked. Solid at the w,t, and canter, gets and holds his canter leads every time. Schools in the arena alone and with other horses, schools in busy arena with distractions. Working nicely on bending and circles.
7/15/15 update: Trainer says this gelding has a "canter to DIE for".
6/26/15 update: Finished 30 days training. Currently in training 3 days/wk on our farm. Going w,t,c and hacking out.
