Nathan is a QH/Clydesdale cross born on 6/22/14. Sired by a 3yr old  Reg Clydesdale currently standing 17H and far from fully grown, and out of a15 QH Clydesdale mare. He will likely finish 16.2H+. He is halter broke and was bred in Canada.

2/18/16 update: Nathan and Connel were pronounced winners by our farrier today. Nathan is just a very tractable fellow, very easy going, and accepting as is typical of Clydesdales and Clydesdale crosses. This week alone he has likely traveled 6 times on a horse trailer, been haltered and led away from his pasturemates - one of those times being haltered on a 150 acre pasture with 20 other horses. Sweet fellow - very easy horse for most people to handle and be successful with!

Nathan is currently one of 6 2014 prospects who will be trained at the Virginia Horse Festival's Trainers Challenge in April. Keep checking our facebook page for updates!

1/3/2016 update: A good sized friendly fellow with legs like tree trunks and a nice almost sculpted profile.  Going to make a handsome hunt horse that does not show dirt!  We have a customer with a very similar one that is only standing 15H hunting with Deep Run Hunt and she reports that she has offers to sell him every time he goes out.
