UPDATE: PLEASE READ and absorb…. We have decided to sell Patron at a price that is far below what he was offered for as even a one day old colt. He sells AS-IS and ONLY - ONLY - we mean this - ONLY to a capable horse trainer or someone committed to paying a capable horse trainer to have him in a consistent program of daily training for at least 60 days. OR as a driving horse to someone capable of training him or willing to send him to a bonafide driving trainer (not your neighbor down the road who drives on the weekend).

He rides fine for an experienced (professional level) rider, but due to inconsistent training of this horse on our part. He will drop his shoulder and inexperienced riders are unable to deal with this effectively (especially from the ground) LOL.

Please DONT CONTACT ME ABOUT THIS HORSE for your child or if you are a beginner. We have a barter offer for him already as a driving horse but would like to see him placed in the best possible situation.

11/3/17 update: Patron has received training over the last month from two talented event trainers, Liz Stewart (Elizabeth Stewart Eventing) and Sarah Davis (Sarah Davis Eventing).

3/6/17 update: NOW A TALL, HANDSOME Warmblood type gelding!  Need to take some pictures. He is really something! Comeing along beautifully. He is a striking and sensible gelding who moves beautifully, he would certainly turn heads at a fox hunt, but he moves nice enough to excel in the mid-levels of dressage or eventing. He could definitely be reg and branded AWR as both of his parents are Reg and approved.

Sired by 17H AWS RPS Silver Medal Stallion and ASHA Reg Shire Sport Horse, Charlie Chimes and out of one of our best broodmares, 17H TB/Clydesdale mare Fonda, by TB stallion Little Traveler, this colt is the largest that we can ever recall foaling on the farm. We are guestimating his mature height to be 17.2 conservatively as his hocks already equal his dams... Black with chrome right now, he is a repeat breeding of Siri, who is turning out to be a very unique Grulla/seal brown color that is of a kind.

1/3/2016 update: Now a coming 2 year old he is still a very tall colt.  Waiting for spring for new pictures. Patron will be in our first group to be started under saddle in 2016, along with Balmoral (est maturity 18H, Chandlar (est maturity 17.2H, and GQ estimated maturity 17.H). We always strive to have at least three exceptionally tall horses in each year's class, and these horses are ALL purchased before we get them started or as 2 yr if these 3 are the fellows that you are considering because you need a tall horse...enough said.

6/21/14 update: At this point Patron has been on and off of a horse trailer 4 times and has traveled one hour and back to and from the Children's Museum. He walks on calmly. He wears a halter and is quiet and gentle. He moves uncharacteristically well for a horse of his size. He travels across the ground with minimal knee action and is airborne. What an incredibly good fellow he was yesterday at the Children's museum! Taking the lead from his unflappable dam, he just took his position, allowing countless, children, toddlers and parents to scratch his hips and neck and he would turn and nuzzle gently. What a wonderful early experience for him.

6/13/14 update: We loaded all of the foals along with their dams and transported them out to summer pasture.
