Willow is a lovely, refined, American Warmblood (AWS) and Performance Horse Registry (PHR) eligible filly. She is 3/4TB and 1/4 Shire, sired by our now retired 16.3H Irish bred TB and out of one of our best Thoroughshire broodmares, Lady Anne. Willow has been handled since birth and is a sane and sensible, athletic mare. She would be an excellent event prospect and would also make a nice show or fox hunter.

3/7/15 update: Covered by Tullymor's Ned Devine Feb 6, 2015. PRICED AT $1,500 on March 1 - PRICE TO INCREASE EACH MONTH AS SHE APPROACHES FOALING BY $250.

4/17/14 update: HEAVY in foal. Price above is with return of foal or at weaning. Call Liz if interested in 3 in one pricing or priced breed back to VSH Diamond Knight.

5/20/11 update: Willow is a gorgeous, sweet mare with PERFECT CONFORMATION. She is too spirited for our program which demands horses that are unflappable and aimed at mature riders. She would make an excellent project for a trainer or young rider. A quality mare.

4/30/11 update: Need to measure her...standing well over 16H.... She never did get ridden after she returned from training and so we just sent her back out for a 30 day refresher. Price to increase upon her return. Pictures just do not do this mare justice... People comment all of the time that my pictures just do not come close to capturing the beauty of some of these horses and I am CERTAIN that is is a prime example... but...its what I have...

1/12/12 update: Willow is now HEAVY in foal...   Estimated foal date 2/15/12. We suspect that she was bred by our former AWS colt, Pierce the Sky, a TB/Percheron by Pokemon out of a TB/Percheron mare...an extremely tall and refined colt, estimated to mature 17H...only time will tell...as this was not a planned breeding...

10/15/10 update: This filly is now standing over 16H, should finish 16.3H+  and is drop dead gorgeous.

11/09/09 update: Willow is now started under saddle and returns from 30 days training on 11/21/09.

Willow is 3/4TB 1/4Shire. She is already elegant. She is a dead ringer for her sire, who is a big boned TB who stamps his offspring with his incredible temperament and floaty movement.

Willow was sired by Truculent Schular, a 16.3H, Thoroughbred stallion, Irish-bred on top with Princiquillo bloodlines. Princiquillo is regarded to be the top TB sire of event mounts. Other TS offspring that we have bred include Shilo, Archer, and Fitz.

Lady Anne, her TB/Shire dam, is our best broodmare and has given us some wonderful offspring in the past such as Arowyn (16.2H at 2 yrs), Legere, and Liam.

Willow is eligible to be registered with the Performance Horse Registry and as an American Warmblood. This filly is extremely tall and leggy and friendly. She has picked up her feet since birth and will follow you around the pasture. She is light, flat kneed, and floaty, with flawlessly straight legs, correct, perfectly formed, symmetrical hooves, correct length and angle of pastern, nice short cannons, not base wide or narrow, perfect chest, deep heart girth, nice wither...just perfect conformation - like every one of the TS offspring that we have bred and raised on this farm. We expect this filly to go 16.2-3H and make a super equitation, event or stadium jumper. Our finest 2007 foal. Very good investment... Her next owner will be fortunate to own her. A quality filly!!

Willow is not only gorgeous and athletic, she is an absolute pet. She is just darling, the type of horse that you find yourself thinking that it is difficult to beleive that she is a horse and not your child. I am very proud of her..
