We acquired "Irish" as a yearling and he was raised and professionally started under saddle here on the farm. He is registered with the Irish Draught Horse Society as an Irish Sport Horse. "Irish" is sired by 17.2H imported RID stallion, Kilpeck Diamond Knight by Roma Diamond Skip and out of Welsh Beauty out of Corrib Easter Bonnet. He is by makeup 3/4 Irish Draught and under current rules would be eligible should someone want to persue the undertaking to be presented to the Irish Draught Inspectors for upgrade to full registration as an Irish Draught (rather than a Sport Horse). The Irish Draught is a very rare breed, and so a limited number of stallions exist worldwide. He produces tall, athletic foals with good jumping ability and movement. We are seeking to sell Irish at the above price to an appropriate breeding home or will consider an annual breeding lease. Contact Liz for details.

1/13/17 update: Irish has been registered with the Irish Draught Horse Society of North America as well as the American Warmblood Registry. 2017 foals are registerable with the AWR and USEF and eligible for a Certificate of Pedigree from the IDSHNA. He is pending upgrade, inspection and approval into the Irish Draught Stud Book as a Reg Irish Draught and upon approval his foals would be eligible for registration as Irish Sport Horses.

12/4/14 update: Started 30 days training under saddle today.
