Thirsty Giant is a 16.2 Bay/Blaze TB stallion by the Kentucky-bred thoroughbred racehorse who competed primarily in Europe. In 2000, he won five straight Group One races. His performance that year earned him European Horse of the Year honors. Giants Causeway's 2014 stud fee is $85,000.

Thirsty Giant's dam is Little Bar Fly, bred by Jerry Paxton's Northwest Farms, WTBA top breeder for the years 1984-1995. Little Bar Fly is the dam to St. Helens Shadow, dam of 2001 Champagne Stakes-G1 winner Officer.

Thirsty Giant was consigned by Kentucky's Three Chimneys Farm and sold as a yearling for $450,000 to Fleetwood Management. In 2004 another Giant's Causeway colt sold for $1,850,000 at the Saratoga Spring Sale.
