11/10/18 update: Jolene is just a very nice filly in every way. The first thing that will strike you upon meeting her is her large, tranquil, kind eye. A love to handle, she is quietly interested, wants to be with you and to please. She has lovely gaits and one of the nicest canters I’ve seen in a while. They say that the canter is the key to the jump and eventers look to the canter in a youngster as a harbinger of natural jumping ability. Jolene is similar to her older 1/2 brother Moreno in temperament and overall sturdy build definitely inherited from their dam, Bonnie. This will be a tall, substantially built filly, reminiscent of the traditional Irish Horse. She will be perfect for a larger framed, competitive eventer and foxhunter. She will easily take someone to Prelim and make a crackerjack 1st or 2nd flight mount. She is halter broke, leads, loads easily in a trailer, can stand tied quietly for hours, loves to be brushed. Perfect conformation, nice clean, straight legs and perfectly symetrical feet, just the right lenght and angle of pasture, well coupled with a neck coming right up out of the wither and a beautifully powerful hind quarter. She is built to excell in dressage as well as jumping and should be easily put together for a horse her size.
